Footnotes:

A.  Jonathan is said to be the brother of Gen. George Rogers CLARK (1752-1818) and William CLARK (of Lewis & Clark fame), but the parents of George and William were John and Ann (ROGERS) CLARK, and their son Gen. Jonathan CLARK was b. 1750 and d. 1811.  Nor is the link through Jane ROGERS because the parents of Ann (ROGERS) CLARK are not known to have had a daughter Jane.

B.  One source says he is buried in the Macedonia Church Cemetery, near Crafton, KY.  That doesn't seem likely.

C.  Phanuel's birthplace or birthdate must be wrong.
